Forklift Safety Training

SafetyQuest Training Services offers a 4 hour compliance training program that will meet or exceed OSHA’s formal training requirements.  The Program focuses on three critical areas: the machine itself,
potential surrounding hazards, and general safety rules. Operators will cover topics like; Pre-operational inspections, to the center of gravity triangle to proper steering, handling and refueling techniques. Participants must pass both a written and skills test. Upon completion students will receive an easy to use employee handbook, Certificate Of Training , Pre-Operational Inspection Daily Checklist and a wallet card. The employer will receive all of the required proof of training documentation to meet OSHA’s Requirements.
Course Length: 4  hours

Bloodborne Pathogen Training     
This program helps facilities comply with OSHA regulations (29CFR1910.1030) while protecting the health and safety of employeesStudents will learn the types of microorgsnisms, pathways of infection, bloodborne diseases, universal precautions/BSI, personal protective equipment, exposure control plan, engineering controls, work practice controls, housekeeping, regulated waste, labeling, post-exposure procedures and record keeping procedures. Participants receive a course completion card that is valid for two years. A successful completion packet, and a course handbook. The employer will receive all of the required proof of training documentation to meet OSHA’s Requirements. FAQ’s
Course Length: 2 hours

Hazard Communication   
The Hazard Communication Standard (§1910.1200) (GISO §5194) is the one OSHA has cited the most often in the past 10 years. The standard states that all employers must provide information and training on chemical hazards to any employees who have the potential of being exposed to a hazardous chemical “under normal conditions of use or in a foreseeable emergency”. This applies to companies with as few as one employee.

This training will consist of an explanation of what a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) is and how to use the information contained on one. An explanation of the contents of the (MSDS) that relates to the specific hazardous substance being used by the employer. Methods and observations that may be used to detect the presence or release of a hazards substance in the work area. The employee’s right to information, including  MSDS’s, the employers written program and a copy of the standard.
Upon completion students will receive an easy to use employee handbook, Certificate Of Training and a wallet card. The employer will receive all of the required proof of training documentation to meet OSHA’s Requirements.
